Sweeping change as Tories clinch majority, NDP seizes Opposition - The Globe and Mail

Sweeping change as Tories clinch majority, NDP seizes Opposition - The Globe and Mail

Harper leads Conservatives to majority

MacKay wins sixth term

Green Party makes history as May wins seat

Well here we are, 2011 and a new government.

Wait, it isn't a new government at all. It is the same exact government. The only difference here is we have now given Stephen Harper all he really needs to further ruin the reputation of this country and show the rest of the world what we Canadians look like with egg on our faces.

I'll tell you what I want, I don't mind you knowing. LOL I want the day to come when we see Peter MacKay become the Prime Minister of Canada. I think Peter will restore Canada back to it's old self, where people across the world drew a line between us and the US it used to be a definitive line and it has since been horribly blurred. Stephen Harper has smudged it in places where he wasn't able to totally remove it altogether.

Will the Long Gun Registry be abolished and never heard of again? I am hopeful but not naive nor am I holding my breath.

The NDP has become the Official Opposition. I do hope they keep Harper and his people honest.

The Liberal Party took a beating and got the lowest number of seats yet and ended up in 3rd place. An embarrassment, I hope Stephan Dion takes the Leadership and not someone like Bob Rae.

And Elizabeth May.....well there is another story altogether. She has traveled across this country from one coast to another searching for a riding weak enough to let her in and give her a chance to represent them in Ottawa and get herself a job in Ottawa. Well it worked, she finally did it. So what next, what will she do next?? Well, she will most likely spend the next few years until the next election always talking about the fact that they can't keep her out of the leaders debate from now on, and also how she was right in searching for that weakened riding to give her a chance. Now we will all eventually become over taxed, under paid and in the end unemployed. Congratulations Ms May, congratulations.

Mr. Harper..............don't make this any worse than it is, just work on fixing the issues and get rid of that Long Gun Registry!!!!

Shit Harper Did

Shit Harper Did Stephen Harper has a recurring dream where he is breastfeeding the CEO of a Big Oil Corporation. In 2007, Harper cut $1.2 Billion in spending for the establishment of quality national childcare. However, he never kept his promise to cut the $1.4 billion in tax breaks he gives to oil companies (the wealthiest corporations in history). http://cupe.ca/child-care/Harpers_1_billion_ch

CRTC to review billing practices for wholesale Internet services

http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/com100/2011/r110208.htm - Check this link out!!!

OTTAWA-GATINEAU, february 8, 2011 —The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) today launched, of its own initiative, a proceeding to review its decisions on billing practices that would have applied to the residential customers of Small Internet service providers (Small ISPs).

Yeah we'll see what happens, when the time comes. None of us believe this is on your initiative and most of us don't really believe Harper was sincerely threatening you into a corner. We all just want to see it reversed.
